The career opportunities after completing the program:
1. Assistant Engineer in Electrical or Technologist The role of the technologist will be to assist the engineer in designing; planning and testing all the electrical installation for domestic or industrial building meet the requirement of Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia and IEE Regulations. To ensure the progress of the wiring and installation at the site are punctual with the scheduled and totally successful.
2. Assistant Engineer in Electronic.
The role is to assist the engineer in designing the electronics circuit. Familiarize to do a calibrating, troubleshooting and upgrading for the electronics equipment and apparatus. Knowledgeable in preparing the “Technical Specification” or Documentation and wisely chosen a right component from a Data Sheet for the systems.
3. Assistant Engineer in Automation.In the same conditions as above, he will be in charge of the study of automated system’s process in designing of automation system such as PLC, sensor, pneumatic, hydraulics for realization of the machine. Familiarize to program the different types of language in PLC such as Ladder or Grafcet.
4. Electrical\Electronic Entrepreneur
The graduates will be able to working independently by running the own company. The company could be involved in the M&E maintenance and servicing business field.
5. Maintenance Dept. (For big companies having automated systems for mass product) The technologist tasks will be:
·To ensure the initial level of the maintenance
·To modify the equipment for upgrading
·To follow through the execution of the task
·To establish technical report Top of Form
